Situated on the far West Rand in Gauteng, AngloGold Ashanti Western Deep Levels Hospital recently underwent a refurbishment to Zones 1-3 and 30, which have been converted into Intensive Care Units (ICU’s) for the expected influx of Covid-19 patients.

The newly completed ICU’s are equipped with freestanding HU19-01 Bedhead Service Systems that provide the perfect patient solution, since traditional and conventional trunking solutions were unsuitable due to the ward layout, and maintaining an aesthetically pleasing finish. The unit provides a cost-effective option for the delivery of medical supply services, while still within a compact footprint. The Bedhead Service Systems are equipped with HUGO-LED-R Medical Examination Lights as well as double pole Medical Rails which allows for a greater amount of lifesaving equipment to be utilised in patient treatment and care.
