Hutz Medical is proud to have played a role in the recent transformation of the paediatric ward at Netcare Garden City Hospital — a space now reimagined to uplift, inspire, and support the healing of young patients and their families.

As part of this inspiring project, Hutz Medical supplied a selection of our trusted bedhead systems: the HU10 Horizontal Bedhead Unit, the HU21 Vertical Bedhead Unit, and the HU19 Floor-to-Ceiling Mounted Bedhead Unit. Each unit was carefully chosen from our extensive product range to seamlessly complement the ward’s colourful, child-friendly design, while providing the essential services required for high-quality paediatric care.

These units, known for their reliability and clinical versatility, now support a healing space that blends practical functionality with emotional comfort,  enabling doctors and nurses to deliver exceptional care around the clock.

The ward features bright murals, playful characters, and representations of real-world role models, from scientists to bakers, all designed to help children imagine brighter futures beyond their hospital stay. Hutz Medical’s bedhead service systems fit naturally into this vision, enabling uninterrupted care in a space that encourages hope, healing, and courage.
