Hutz Lighting Technique 1986 (Pty) Ltd, trading as Hutz Medical, and its associated companies (Hutz Hospitec (Pty) Ltd and Hutz Engineering (Pty) Ltd) as manufacturers of medical devices and equipment, have been deemed essential service companies in terms of the regulations published under the Disaster Management Act, 2002, and therefore will remain open during the national lock down from midnight on 26th March until midnight on 16th April 2020 in order to service the healthcare industry at this critical time.

In order to continue the manufacturing and supply of our critical medical devices in support of the national fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, our employees, along with our suppliers, continue to work actively over this time period to assist the medical industry where we can.

Should this situation change, or it be necessary to implement a full or partial shutdown during the lock down period, we will do so and inform all affected.
