St George’s Hospital in Port Elizabeth recently upgraded their Cardiac Theatre and installed a triple head state-of-the-art theatre light in the form of the Luvis L/L/L200. These light heads were all fitted with smart sensor technology to ensure maximum light output and reduce shadows while in use and proved to be the perfect solution for the hospital’s medical lighting needs.

“I enjoy having a project where Hutz representatives sit together with the client to decide which option works best to meet their objectives and then be able to provide a tangible and cost-effective solution for them. In this case we were able to offer our new range of Luvis lights and were even able to plan for the hospital’s future expansion and requirements by prepping one of the lights for future camera upgradability,” commented André Taljaard, Hutz Medical’s Service Manager and Medical Lighting Specialist.
