Situated atop the picturesque Baakens Valley, Edge Day Hospital is a healthcare facility that recently opened its doors in Gqeberha (PE). The realised dream of local ENT Dr Cameron McIntosh, Edge Day Hospital incorporates two theatres, one being a Laminar Flow Operating Theatre and the other a Digital Theatre. The 15-bed facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment throughout; from the operating theatres and recovery ward to the beautifully decorated day wards.

Hutz Medical is delighted to have been part of this project and supplied a variety of products including Bedhead Service Systems (HU10-01, HU20-01, HU24-01), Pendant Service Systems (HU6-S1-HAP and HU8-FFR) as well as Medical and Surgical Lighting (M200/M300 and L/M400) which were utilised in the theatre complex.
