In the heart of Kenya lies the capital city of Nairobi, home to more than 3.4 million people. A developing nation, Kenya’s healthcare system is still in a growth phase, with further hospitals and clinics desperately needing to be built to accommodate an ever-growing nation and serve the communities at large.
Enter Kenyatta. Boasting 600-beds, the new Kenyatta University Teaching, Research and Referral Hospital serves as a teaching hospital for Kenyatta University’s Faculty of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dental and other health specialties. Some of the healthcare needs the hospital is envisaged to offer include amongst many others, Oncology, Radiology, Geriatrics, Paediatrics, Dental and Neurosurgery.
Hutz Medical supplied the following products for use in the Kenyatta University, Research, Teaching and Referral Hospital project: Bedhead units in the form of HU10, Hu21-360, HU21-560, Pendants comprising of HU5-T22 and HU6-S2 as well as HU12 Theatre Control Panels. The Solaris LED 700/500-C-9 lights were also supplied, along with a range of attachments.
