Flora Clinic is based on Johannesburg’s West Rand and forms part of the popular Life Health Group. The private hospital has 322 beds and includes a fully integrated cardiac unit, dedicated cardiac theatre, medical and surgical cardiac ward, as well as a cardiac clinic and a 24 hour trauma and emergency unit.
A general upgrade was recently completed in the ICU and Trauma wards of the hospital, where a number of Hutz products were utilized including: Pendants in the form of HU5-S2 and HU5-FT2, Solaris 3000 lights, HU20-03 trunking and a Nurses’ Control Panel, the HU12-NS.
“This site remains one of the most well organised and controlled that I have worked on, with the main contractor always availing himself to assist where needed. The site was extremely difficult as it formed part of an existing, fully operational hospital.
