As 2020 comes to a close, somehow the usual spirit of the Festive Season has not reached me as yet.

I must admit this has been a real rollercoaster ride for which none of us signed up, but had no choice than to partake.

This year was specifically challenging on numerous levels. We found that with restricted material supply, high staff absenteeism due to Covid quarantines and protocols as well as the urgent need from the market to provide product, we were really stretched to our limits at times.

However, we kept up our reputation as being performance driven and providing product solutions, which not only meet the client’s expectations, but were also delivered on time, every time.

And even as I write this, with one week left before shutdown and having the official appointments only received today, we are committed to manufacture another urgent product solution for COVID projects in Nigeria and still have to develop and supply a portable oxygen manifold unit for the VW COVID-19 facility here in Port Elizabeth – and this all before we go on leave.

None of this would be possible without the ongoing support from our internal and external team, some tremendous individuals, for which I am extremely grateful.

A great thank you to all that have been part of this ride and I wish you all peace this Festive Season and to be reminded that we are here for something else other than ourselves.
