Tools used for analysis and marketing
Google Analytics (with anonymization)
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google Analytics”). We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained allow us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. Google Analytics uses methods, such as cookies, which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymisation on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On our behalf, Google will use the collected information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity to us. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with any other data held by Google.
For users from the EU: We only use Google Analytics in connection with your personal data if you have given us your express consent in advance. Your consent is also the legal basis for the use of Google Analytics pursuant to Art. 6 (1) a) GDPR. You can decide yourself about the setting of cookies as described above in your cookie settings on our website and in particular deactivate previously activated cookies by deselecting the cookie group “Marketing” and thus revoke your consent. In addition, you can also deactivate the setting of cookies altogether in the settings of your browser. Your personal data collected in connection with Google Analytics anonymised and will be deleted or anonymised after 2 months.
In addition, you will find further information on setting and objection options and on data protection at Google as a whole in Google’s general data protection declaration at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Facebook Pixel, Facebook Custom Audiences and Facebook-Conversion
On our website, we use the so-called “Facebook Pixel” from Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”).
With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook can determine visitors to our websites as a target group for the display of ads (so-called “Facebook ads”). Accordingly, we use Facebook Pixel to display Facebook Ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who also have an interest in our websites or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Facebook (so-called “Custom Audiences”). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can further track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called “conversion”).
For users from the EU: We only use the Facebook pixel if you have given us your express consent beforehand. Your consent is also the legal basis for the use of the Facebook Pixel pursuant to Art. 6 (1) a) GDPR. You can decide yourself about the setting of cookies as described above in your cookie settings on our website and in particular deactivate previously activated cookies by deselecting the cookie group “Marketing“ and thus revoke your consent. In addition, you can also deactivate the setting of cookies altogether in your browser settings. Your personal data collected in connection with Facebook Pixel will be deleted or anonymised after 14 months.
The processing of data and general information on the display of Facebook ads by Facebook is carried out within the framework of the data policy of Facebook https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. Specific information and details about the Facebook pixel and how it works can be found in Facebook’s help area.
The security of your information is important to us and we will use reasonable security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration of your information under our control. However, given the inherent risks, we cannot guarantee absolute security and, consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.
