DESCRIPTION
The HU5-S1 unit suspends equipment within the patient area and is designed to enable the user to move the services to the optimum position for the procedure or treatment being performed on the patient. It is intended for use by surgeons, anaesthetists, qualified theatre and nursing staff.
AREAS OF USE:
ICU, Resuscitation, Recovery, Trauma and Emergency.
DESIGN
The pendant service system is ceiling mounted and is intended to supply one or more of the following medical services via a fixed, or movable service pillar which is attached to a single or double articulated arm:
- electrical power up to 240 volts
- medical gases such as oxygen, nitrousoxide, carbon dioxide
- low pressure medical air for patient ventilation
- high pressure medical air for driving other medical devices
- vacuum and/or anaesthetic gas scavenging services
INSTALLATION
The unit can be fitted with equipment trays and equipment poles for medical equipment, monitors, life support systems, medical attachments etc.The movable unit is designed to enable the user to move the services to the optimum position for the procedure or treatment being performed on the patient.
NORMS & CERTIFICATIONS
As these products may channel gases for the eventual introduction into the body, they are classfied as Class IIb medical devices in terms of Council Directive 93/42/EEC, 2007, Annex IX, Section III, Rules 2, 9 and 11
