This screen is specifically designed to convert existing facilities to a more isolated patient environment and prevent cross infections from one patient to another. The framework for the screen is secured to the existing ceiling structure and will be anchored via an innovative mounting bracket to the suspended ceiling structure, without adding any load to this structure. The framework is manufactured from stainless steel grade 304 piping, where the uprights are dia 38mm and the horizontal piping is dia 25mm....

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has declared the Coronavirus outbreak a global pandemic. Our own president Cyril Ramaphosa calls it a medical emergency far greater than we have experienced in over a century and has called for the lock down of South Africa for a period of 21-days. As much as we are trying to reduce the impact that this virus will have on our South African healthcare system and economy, we can only hope that as a country, we are adequately prepared for it....
